DMCA Policy

01.1. Overview
Independent Filmmaker Connection Database respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement.
02.2. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that content on IFMCD infringes your copyright, please submit a written notice to our designated DMCA agent with the following information:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
- Identification of the infringing material and information sufficient to locate it on the Platform
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, email)
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
03.3. Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification to our DMCA agent including:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and consent to the jurisdiction of your local federal court
04.4. Repeat Infringers
IFMCD maintains a policy of terminating accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers of copyright. We reserve the right to terminate any account at our discretion if we believe the user has repeatedly infringed on others' copyrights.
